I went to Miami for Spring break. It was the most random and last minute thing I have ever done. I booked my flight Sunday night at 8pm and by 3pm Monday I was on my way to fun and relaxation [and partying of course!] Here are some pictures of my time there. Enjoy!

I am all for women who are fabulous and do whatever they want. What fun is it to follow other people's rules? NONE! I recently purchased the Lady Gaga CD. I rarely, no I NEVER purchase CD's. For some reason I walked into FYE and decided to pick up her CD. I must say that I am not disappointed in the least. Many people may not agree with me but I really like the CD. It has a lot of catchy songs that still talk about something. It may not exactly be talking about a world full of suffering or anything INCREDIBLY dramatic but I like it a lot. If you're the type of person who is willing to listen to any type of music that is good I think it would be worthwhile to listen to a few of her tracks. In addition tto having an awesome style, being cute and fabulous, she is also truly talented. I really like her voice. I hope she's here to stay unlike many people who have one or two hit songs and then disappear. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing her live.

Ever since I was about 10 years old I have had an obsession with all things Hello Kitty. I was that girl in school who always had the notebooks, pens, pencils, even the planners. PLANNERS! At 10 years old why did I need a planner?! This obsession carried on into adulthood and till this day I cannot leave a store that sells Hello Kitty items without atleast taking a look. Its like there's this magnetic force field that won't let me walk away.

So late last month I was browsing the WWD website and came across the words HELLO KITTY and MAC Cosmetics in the same sentence. I had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing two of my most favorite things in the world mentioned together. I clicked the link and I couldn't help but feel giddy.

MAC Cosmetics has teamed up with Sanrio Global Consumer Products to create a Hello Kitty color cosmetics collection. The line will arrive on MAC’s Web site Feb. 10, in North American stores on Feb. 12 and into overseas stores in March.

“MAC has been mining pop culture since the brand was founded,” said John Demsey, group president of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. “This is a sexy and innocent fashion line, and a true MAC moment. In these times, everyone can use a little fun — and a little Kitty.”

“The partnership was a no-brainer,” said James Gager, senior vice president and creative director of MAC Worldwide.



I haven't felt this excited for a MAC product line launch since...well, NEVER! What's best about this launch is that it is launched in stores on my birthday! [February 12] So if you were thinking of getting me a gift...HINT HINT!


MAC will be offering all of what it normally offers with its product launches: Eyeshadows, lipsticks/glosses, blushes and palettes. In addition it will be offering some makeup cases and also Hello Kitty toys/figurines like the ones pictured above.

While I love Hello Kitty I am also very happy because some of the colors from the color scheme are not yet part of my cosmetics collection. I can't wait for the date to get here so I can bring them home. My savings begin today for this collection!
